Monuments and architectural details
Monuments and architectural details, especially those from many years ago and after centuries of exploitation need to be refreshed and renovate. Company GRC Beton Poland has dealt with this for years, offering knowledge and experience to clients old or new. Thanks to advances in the technology of architectural concrete reinforced with fiberglass GRC (GFRC), monuments and antiques can regain their former glory and delight anew. This material works perfectly in places where you clearly see signs of the time. Used as exposed concrete, it protects monuments from external factors. The lightweight and compact size of elevation panels and architectural details allow them to be freely supplied and installed. Using colored art concrete, we are able to accurately reproduce the elements and architectural details that have been incomplete or broken over the years. GRC concrete is characterized by its unique flexibility and durability that far exceeds other architectural and structural concretes. It can be formed into any shape, and will be pleasing to the eye for years. This properties makes also that the material can be used as decorative concrete. In addition, GRC concrete is non-flammable and resistant to adverse weather conditions. The material, used as exposed concrete, does not only secure old monuments, it also breathes new life into a building. During the renovation of historic buildings, concrete GRC can be used, inter alia, to perform facades, roofs and repairs or execution of a brand new „street furniture”. Products made of GEC concrete can be used not only during the renovation, but also in the process of upgrading facilities. Fibro-concrete and fiber-cement materials, such as decorative concrete, can restore former beauty to old buildings and let them last for centuries.
